Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
DataBridge Collector processes selected web page data on your device so you can preview it and download it as a BRI file. The extension does not upload that data to a DataBridge server.
Scope
This policy describes the DataBridge Collector Chrome extension. The companion DataBridge Figma plugin and any third-party websites or services you use have their own data practices.
Information the extension accesses
When you open the extension and click Scan page, it examines the current page for supported tables and lists. It reads their contents to identify data sources and display a preview. Depending on the page, this may include text, image URLs, CSS background image URLs, and inline SVG content. Page content may include personal or other sensitive information, depending on the page you choose.
The extension uses the current page's address to resolve relative image URLs and to recognize supported page structures. You choose which source, fields, and rows to include in the exported file.
How information is used and stored
The extension uses the scanned content to show available data, let you configure your selection, and create a BRI file for you to download. Scanned data is held temporarily in the extension's popup while it is open. It is not saved by the extension to a persistent database or uploaded to a DataBridge server.
If you download a BRI file, it remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete exported files using your device's normal file-management tools.
Sharing and third-party requests
DataBridge Collector does not send the collected page data to the developer or to a DataBridge server. Image previews can cause your browser to request images from the websites hosting them. Those websites may receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, under their own policies and your browser's settings.
If you choose to import a BRI file into the companion Figma plugin or share the file with another service or person, that use is governed by the relevant service's practices and your choices. The companion plugin may request remote image URLs contained in the file to generate designs.
Permissions
- activeTab: provides temporary access to the active tab when you invoke the extension, so the page you choose can be scanned.
- scripting: runs the extension's bundled scanning function in that tab when you click Scan page.
Your choices
You control when a page is scanned and which fields and rows are exported. Close the popup to end the current session, delete any downloaded files you no longer need, or remove the extension through Chrome's extension settings.
Changes to this policy
If the extension's data practices change, this policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
